Engineers are precise. If want to want them to understand what you mean by desirable, you have to be clear. In this course you will learn exactly that.
Nobody can tell what features and functions a completely new product should have before seeing how it might work. Prototyping reveals this. And we prototype a lot!
The first two weeks are dedicated to learning about IoT technology in a hands-on manner. You will build a functioning prototype with prepared materials and components.
The next four weeks forms a concept design project. During the project you will define a relevant design concept in a user-centred manner, and communicate the idea to engineers.
There are a lot of things that will work a bit differently than what you want. This, you need to put your creations into test, hopefully, with the true users of your design.
The course will provide anyone with enough challenge to push personal boundaries further. Cultivate yourself with new challenges, people, and experiences.
Nobody can know what you are about to be designing in this course. We follow a process, which is informed by experience, partners, and academic research.
